Job description

As a Junior Business Developer, assist in enhancing our outreach strategies, managing our CRM system, and developing impactful sales materials. Work under the guidance of a Senior Business Developer or the CEO, contributing to targeted outreach campaigns to engage potential clients and drive business opportunities. Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to synchronise efforts and optimise the effectiveness of campaigns. Monitor and report on outreach activities, providing insights to refine strategies and tactics for business growth.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist in the creation and refinement of sales materials, ensuring they are compelling and align with our brand strategy.
  2. Enrich and manage our CRM database, ensuring all client and prospect information is up-to-date and accurately maintained.
  3. Develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns to engage potential clients and drive business opportunities.
  4. Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to synchronize efforts and optimize the effectiveness of campaigns.
  5. Monitor and report on the outcomes of outreach activities, providing insights to help refine strategies and tactics.

Tools you will use

At Noodle, we utilise a suite of tools and software to ensure seamless collaboration, efficient project management, and high-quality output for our clients. Below is a brief overview of the tools we use and why they are essential to our operations. If you have experience in these tools it would be a plus.

  1. Notion: Our central hub for knowledge management, project tracking, and internal wikis. It helps us organise information, manage tasks, and streamline workflows across the team, ensuring everyone is on the same page.
  2. Slack: Our primary platform for quick communication, both internally and externally. Slack enables us to collaborate in real-time, share updates, and maintain an open line of communication with clients and team members, fostering a dynamic and responsive work environment.
  3. Google Workspace: We rely on Google Workspace for document creation, storage, and collaboration. Tools like Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Google Colab facilitate efficient data management, collaborative editing, and seamless sharing of information.
  4. Webflow: Our go-to tool for marketing website development. Webflow allows us to design, build, and launch responsive websites quickly, providing our clients with high-quality, visually appealing online presences.
  5. Figma: Essential for design and prototyping, Figma enables our team to create, iterate, and collaborate on design projects in real-time. It helps us deliver precise and engaging design solutions tailored to our clients’ needs.
  6. Canva: Used for creating quick animated materials and social media posts, Canva offers a user-friendly interface and a wide range of templates. It’s perfect for producing high-quality visual content efficiently.
  7. HubSpot: Our CRM of choice for managing client relationships and sales processes. HubSpot helps us keep track of interactions, automate marketing efforts, and drive business growth through data-driven insights and personalised communication.

What a week would look like?

  1. Monday:
    1. Join the team meeting to discuss the week’s objectives and receive assignments
    2. Start working on foundational work for the week ahead.
  2. Tuesday:
    1. Participate in the morning stand-up meeting to update the team on progress and outline tasks for the day.
    2. Focus on CRM enrichment, adding detailed information and categorising prospects based on recent interactions.
    3. Work on initial drafts for new outreach campaigns, brainstorming target audiences and key messages.
  3. Wednesday:
    1. Join the stand-up meeting to share updates and receive guidance from the senior business developer or CEO.
    2. Continue developing outreach campaigns, finalising content and scheduling initial sends.
    3. Collaborate with the teams to refine sales materials and align them with current strategies.
  4. Thursday:
    1. Attend the stand-up meeting to discuss any roadblocks or necessary adjustments to the week’s strategy.
    2. Conduct follow-ups on outreach campaigns, analysing responses and adjusting tactics as needed.
    3. Engage in additional CRM maintenance, ensuring all new data from outreach efforts is accurately captured.
  5. Friday:
    1. Participate in the stand-up meeting to review the week’s accomplishments and set preliminary goals for the next week.
    2. Finalise updates to sales materials and ensure all CRM updates are complete.
    3. Prepare a brief report on the week’s activities, including outreach campaign results and potential leads for further development.

Job requirements

  1. Proven experience in ability to reach out and connect.
  2. Experience in sales or marketing, with a keen understanding of CRM systems and data management would be a plus.
  3. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Creative thinker with a strategic mindset, eager to learn and contribute to team success.
  5. Strong proficiency in any of our tools(e.g., Notion, HubSpot).
